Sebastian Grazzini's life has been inextricably linked with sport since childhood. He grew up in Buenos Aires and spent his holidays in Patagonia, in the south of Argentina. In the summer he practised wakeboarding and mountain biking and in the winter he skied. As an adult, he even qualified for the X-Game tournament in Ski Cross and Extreme Ski and surfed the Brazilian and Hawaiian coasts in the summer. Later, he settled in Denver and took up martial arts. Just one year later, after many exhausting days of training, he won the Tae Kwon-do International Championship in Las Vegas.

After learning to love paddling on the rivers and lakes of Aspen and eventually living in Mexico on the Riviera Maya, he turned his passion for sport and adventure into the basis for his livelihood and founded the SUP board brand CALA. For Sebastian, it was and still is important that the CALA board enables people to travel further, experiment and realise their dreams.
